The North and South Carolina Departments of Transportation, in association with city and county governments in the metropolitan Charlotte area, are conducting a survey of 4,000 households in the greater Charlotte area. The purpose of the survey is to better understand how and why people in our region travel.

The information from the survey is one of the most important data collection efforts for the region. The results will be used to plan future transportation improvements for the region.
